Your generous support, keeps students engaged and striving for excellence. Please save the date for this very special occasion!

Save the date for the 7th annual Kina‘ole Awards

Clear your calendar for Thursday
evening, February 24, 2011.

On that evening, community leaders, staff, faculty and alumni of Moanalua High School, and their supporters will gather to honor the accomplishments of a select group of individuals. These honorees will be recognized for their ability to inspire, motivate and excel in their professional and personal lives.

2011 marks the 7th annual Menehune Kina‘ole Awards. This gala fundraiser will be hosted by the MoHS PTSA at the beautiful Honolulu Country Club, keeping with the theme, “A Moonlit Night in Moanalua”. Very soon honorees will be announced and pre-sale tickets will go on sale with special pricing for early purchases.

This is a wonderful opportunity for businesses to sponsor a full table and use it as an appreciation dinner for their valued employees. Proceeds from this event benefit the student programs and classroom needs not covered within the annual budget. Over the years, the PTSA has been able to provide funds to defer expenses for enrichment and athletic  programs, student scholarships and to supplement classroom and facility needs.

One of the highlights of the evening is our silent auction . There’s always something for everyone!  We’re actively looking for donations of items. Find out how to donate here.

We look forward to celebrating our next group of outstanding individuals who do the right thing, at the right time, to the right person, for the right reason – the first time. That is the spirit of kina‘ole which we strive to perpetuate for generations to come.
